Kids Raising Kids
As children, our parents were synonymous with gods—
Mighty and wise beyond all mortal measure,
Infallible, all-knowing.
Then one day, we grow and have children of our own—
Fragile, impressionable seeds of human brilliance.
We search for guidance, a manual, a rulebook—
But there is none.
And suddenly, it hits us:
Those gods we once worshiped
Were just kids raising kids.
And now, so are we—
Doing the best we can
With what little we know,
And all the love we have.
